YOUR FILES, ON THEIR WAY

The space between
here and there.

Some things just need a moment.
Plupo holds on while you find the right window.

A LITTLE WALKTHROUGH

Step 1: Start dragging a file from Finder.

Illustrated walkthrough. Your original files stay in place while they’re on the shelf.

SMALL APP. THOUGHTFUL DETAILS.

Just enough.
Right where you need it.

A native Mac utility that fits into your day.
Nothing new to organize. Just a little less friction.

More than files.

Keep files, links, text, and images together. A handy stop for the things you're moving.

Keep the good stuff close.

Lock an item to reuse it, or keep everything on the shelf after dragging it out.

A peek before you drop.

Quick Look helps you check a file, image, or bit of text without losing your place.

Your side of the screen.

Left or right. Top, middle, or bottom. Put the shelf wherever it feels most natural.

Your files are your business.

No account, cloud storage, or analytics. The shelf stays on your Mac, and clears when you quit. See the privacy notes for update checks and temporary files.

BUILT TO BE
A LITTLE UTILITY.

ONE LESS THING TO JUGGLE

Make room for a
little more flow.

Free, open source, and ready for your Mac.

A quick note on first launch.

Plupo isn’t signed with an Apple Developer ID or notarized by Apple yet. macOS may block the first launch. If you trust the download, try opening the installed app once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway and confirm.

A few little details.

How do I install Plupo?

Download the DMG, open it, and drag Plupo into Applications. Eject the disk image and open Plupo from Applications. You’ll find it in your menu bar. See the first-launch note above if macOS blocks it.

Does Plupo move or back up my files?

The shelf references your original files; adding them doesn’t move or back them up. Contents aren’t restored after quitting. When you drag an item into another app, that destination decides how to handle it.

Will it work on my Mac?

Plupo supports Apple Silicon Macs (M1 and newer) running macOS 15.7 or later. Drag-and-drop support depends on the source and destination apps. See the README for current limitations.

How do I get updates?

Download the newest DMG from GitHub Releases and replace Plupo in Applications. Release notes show what changed between versions.

Can I help make it better?

Absolutely. Report a bug or share an idea, or explore the code on GitHub. Plupo is free software under the MIT license.
